Steps to Make Barley Water

1. Rinse the Barley

● Place the barley grains in a sieve and wash them thoroughly under running water to remove dirt and impurities.

2. Soak the Barley (optional)

● For quicker cooking and better nutrient release, soak the barley in clean water for about 30 minutes before cooking.

3. Boil the Barley

● In a saucepan, add the rinsed barley and 2 cups of water.

● Boil the mixture on medium heat. Reduce the heat after a while and let it simmer for around 25-30 minutes.

4. Strain the Water
