Different Types of Motorcycle Tyres

While they can be used on the road, they are best at home away from the road because they will make the ride on the road supremely uncomfortable.

• Racing tyres:

These are also known as slicks and they have very low-depth treads. Tread induces friction between the tyre and the road, thus providing grip. With slicks, the tread is minimal and thus they have bare minimum friction, which ensuresthe bike can go as fast as it can.
