Yoga Poses that Help Reduce Knee Pain

Yoga is a natural healing method with no side effects and there are some asanas of yoga for knee pain which have proven to help overcome the pain, easily and safely.

1. Trikonasana:

Also known as Chair pose, this is one of the best yoga asana for knee pain because while doing this pose, the body weight is stirred to the hip joint, alleviating pressure from the knees and reducing pain.

6. UpavisthaKonasana:

Also known as the Seated forward bend, this is slightly specialised yoga pose that brings tremendous relief from knee pain. However, this is an advanced level pose which requires a lot of flexibility and can be mastered with practice.

7. Padmasana:

Also known as Lotus pose, this is the most basic yoga pose which has several benefits including relief from knee pain.
