How To Check Your Driving Licence Application Status Online?

The process of checking your driving licence application status online is relatively easy. You can check your dl status using a smartphone, laptop, or tablet.
To check your drivery licence application status online, follow the steps given below
• You can check your driving licence application status, go to the official transport department's site: parivahan.gov.in .
• Now, click on the "Online Services" button.
• Then, from the menu, select "Driving Licence-Related Services."
• Afterwards, select your state, and a portal will appear.
• You can view the "Application Status" tab on the right side of the menu.
• Now, click on the "Application Status" tab.
• Fill in the required details, add the correct date of birth, application number, and complete the captcha verification.
• Once the details are submitted, your drivery licence application status will appear on the screen.
You can also check your driving application status online through your state's official Transport Department website.

How To Check Your Driving Licence Status Offline?

In certain circumstances where you cannot access internet services or cannot check your parivahan dl status online, you can check your dl status offline.
The process to check your dl application status offline is as follows:

  • • Visit your local RTO office along with the token card that you received during your licence application process.
  • • After visiting the RTO office, visit the inquiry centre.
  • • In the inquiry centre, you can ask the person in charge of such matters about the status of your dl application. 
  • • This way, that person will tell you about the status of your driving licence.

Driving Licence Status Check - Things to Keep in Mind

Keep the following thing in mind while checking DL status online:
• It can take upto 30 days to receive a driving licence after the driving test.
• Generally, the driving licence is issued within two to three weeks by the RTO and delivered directly to your registered address.
• If the driving licence is damaged or accidentally lost, you can apply for a duplicate driving licence.
• Any person with a driving licence can apply for an international driving licence.
• You should check the dl status frequently as the rules and regulations are subject to change promptly.
• If you are out of town, but your driving licence is arriving, make sure someone else is there to receive it. The person accepting the driving licence in your place must have ID proof. 

How To Check Your RC Status Online?

An RC or Registration certificate is a document equivalent to a driving licence. The purpose of an RC is to prove that you own the vehicle you drive. Applying for vehicle registration after purchase is compulsory, as you must always carry an RC.
There are two methods to check RC status online. Both of them are as follows:

Methods To Check Your RC Status Online:

  • 1. Checking RC status on Vahan PariVahan using the application number.
  • 2. Checking RC status on Vahan PariVahan using the vehicle number

Check RC Status with Application Number

Follow the steps listed below to check RC status with the application number:
• Go to the official site parivahan.gov.in.
• Click on the "Online Services" option and select the "vehicle-related services" tab.
• Now, select "RTO" from the drop-dead menu and proceed.
• Afterwards, you need to enter your registration number and submit it.
• Now, press the status tab present on the website.
• Now, from the drop-dead menu, select "Know Your Vehicle Details" and enter the required details, i.e. your application number and submit the information.
• To view your RC status, click on the view report tab.

Check RC Status with Vehicle Number

Follow the steps listed below to check RC status with vehicle number:

  • • Go to the official site parivahan.gov.in.
  • • On the site, click on the "Online Services" option.
  • • Now, select "Know Your Vehicle Details" from the drop-dead menu.
  • • After all is done, enter your vehicle number and fill in the Captcha verification.
  • • Now, press "Search Vehicle."
  • • The details related to your RC are given on the next page. 

Facts About Your Driving Licence Status

Here are some facts associated with your driving licence status:
• Every driving licence has an expiry date. You need to renew your driving licence before the expiry date.
• A permanent driving licence's renewal is often done after twenty years from the date the dl was issued. Renewal of a driving licence can also be done after the licence holder reaches the age of fifty.
• In case your driving licence hasn't reached your address, you can find the status of your dl on the official portal.
• Filling in the correct details while checking your dl status is mandatory. Always double-check the information before submitting.
• For future reference, saving up the status check of your driving licence application status is good.
• The Indian international driving licence is recognized as valid worldwide for one year. Within this period, the dl holder must apply for that specific country's permanent licence.
• You can check the status of a duplicate driving licence status online.
• To apply for a dl, you must have a learner's licence. No matter the age or driving skills, a permanent driving licence is not issued to candidates who don't have a LL or Learner's Licence.
