Study Says New Digital Health Program Reduces Depression Risk In India

Mental health care has taken an all-new turn in Modern India. Recent studies suggest that the launching of a new digital program in rural India has reduced the incidences of depression by 75% combining digital tools with community outreach. The aim is to tackle stigma and boost mental health care among the masses.

A groundbreaking digital initiative has been shown to significantly reduce risk of depression and other related mental health issues among various participants, a program developed by The George Institute of Global Health in New Delhi. The program combines digital tools with community outreach to improve mental health support where access to care is limited.
