Another beast from Mahindra, the XUV 500, has been a huge hit in India ever since it was launched in 2011. It has been popular as a family car, a police vehicle, a sports car, etc. The car has also been extensively exported to countries like South Africa and has proven to be a true gem of the Indian Automobile Industry. The car sold over lakh models in a year and was a superhit vehicle in every way.

8. Tata Nexon

Quite literally, the car that changed the fortunes for Tata Motors, the Nexon, has delivered as no vehicle has for the manufacturer. A great vehicle in every sense, the Nexon was first launched in 2014. It had a slow start, but steadily reached the spot of the market leader and is comfortably stationed there now. The Nexon is a crossover SUV and one of the most preferred vehicles by Indians.

9. Mahindra Thar

Anyone who is a fan or follower of military vehicles will surely be aware of the limited edition Mahindra Legend that was launched way back in 2005. Though the Legend had a short run, Mahindra reinvented the design and launched the super-impressive Mahindra Thar in 2020. The Thar is one of the few jeep-type vehicles available in India currently. It is becoming more and more popular with every passing day. The Thar is a truly global vehicle with all the safety features and accessories in it. 10. Mahindra XUV700

An able successor of the mighty XUV 500, the Mahindra XUV 700 has been recently launched and is already deemed one of the most successful Indian vehicles ever.
