Two Wheeler Comprehensive Coverage – Long-Term Policy

As the name suggests, this is a comprehensive coverage policy that provides accidental coverage to the rider as well as to the third party. It also covers any financial loss arising due to damage or theft of the vehicle. In the long term two wheeler insurance plans, you are getting upto 50% discounts on the premium.

Inclusions:

Own Damage Cover

The policy covers any financial loss arising due to

  • Theft of the insured vehicle

  • Damage or loss to the insured vehicle in case of an accident

  • Damage to the insured vehicle due to natural calamities

  • Damage to the insured vehicle in case of burglaries

Third Party Cover

The policy provides complete coverage for:

  • Any financial loss arising due to permanent injury, disability or death of a third party involved in an accident with the insured vehicle

  • Any financial loss arising due to damage to a third party property due to an accident caused by the insured vehicle

  • Accidental cover for the owner driver involved in an accident with the insured vehicle. The owner driver get an accidental coverage of up to 1 lac in case of accidental death or total disability.

Major Exclusions

Here is the list of things that are not covered by the insurance policies:

  • Natural wear and tear of the vehicle caused due to ageing or rough use

  • Contractual liability claims

  • Mechanical or electrical breakdown of the vehicle

  • Damage caused by a person without valid driver license or under the influence of alcohol

  • Loss or damage caused by war/nuclear risks/mutiny

Multiyear Third Party Insurance for Two Wheelers

A third party two wheeler insurance for two wheelers covers liability CLAIM for injury, death, or damage caused to the property of a third party in case of an accident. Third-party insurance is mandated under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.

The Multiyear third party liability plan provides you with coverage for upto three years. Optionally, you can also opt for a two-year multiyear policy as per your budget and requirement

Inclusions

  • For any damage arising due to an accident involving your vehicle, the insurance covers your liability to third parties for:

    • Injuries

    • Permanent disability

    • Death

    • Property Damage

     

  • Compulsory personal accidents cover of Rs 1 Lakh in case of an accident, death and personal total disability to the owner-driver.

    • Exclusions

     

  • Contractual liability claims

  • Damage caused by a person without valid driver license or under the influence of alcohol

  • Loss or damage caused by war/nuclear risks/mutiny

  • Any damage or liability caused or incurred outside the permitted Geographical area
