1. Begin in a plank position
2. Keep your hands firmly on the floor below your shoulders
3. Press your toe firmly on the floor
4. Tighten your core and keep a flat back position
5. Engage your glutes and hamstrings
6. Your entire body should be in a straight line
7. Lift your hips high and form an inverted V-shape with your body, similar to a downward-facing dog
8. Try to keep your arms and legs straight
9. Start to bend your elbows; lower your entire upper body towards the floor
10. Stay there till the count of three and then move back to a downward-facing dog position
11. Maintain control of your body throughout
12. Don’t push in this pose, and gradually build up your strength
