In 2021, the bike manufacturer introduced a new line-up with the launch of the Pulsar N250 and the Pulsar F250. In 2022, the company launched the Pulsar N160. And, in the same series, the manufacturer is now ready to add a new member to its Pulsar family. The company has teased the launch of its Pulsar N150, a new member in its N250 and F250 line-up. As touted by the company, the N150 will be an entry-level bike for the new generation of Pulsars.

Recently surfaced pictures have indicated that the Pulsar N150 is quite similar to the Pulsar N160 and Pulsar N250 when it comes to looks. However, the company has made some changes to its design to make it look more appealing. For instance, the front LED headlamp of the Pulsar N150 has been replaced with a halogen. The upcoming Pulsar N150 is supposed to appeal to people who want to purchase a sporty-looking bike that can be fuel economical and comfortably carry a pillion. Engines:

Pulsar N150 is all set to get some performance updates. Speaking of the Pulsar N150’s engine, it could be around the level of the current Pulsar 150. However, the refinement levels of the upcoming Pulsar N150 engine are expected to be better. The engine of the Pulsar N150 should also be torquey. At present, Bajaj Pulsar 150 is powered by a 149.50 cc motor that generates 14 PS of max power at 8,500 rpm and 13.25 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm power. Comparatively, the N160 produces 16 PS of max power and 14.65 Nm of peak torque. The bike will also have a 17-inch wheel at both ends, with 90/90 front and 120/80 rear tubeless Tyres (dual-disc variant) and ABS. The tyres on the N150 are likely to be slimmer than Pulsar N160. The Pulsar N150 will also sport a 5-speed gearbox transmission.

Features and underpinnings:

Similar to the Pulsar F250 and Pulsar N250, the Pulsar N150 is expected to sport a semi-digital instrument cluster. The upcoming Pulsar N150 may come only with a tachometer and a bezel-less design. The bike will sport an LCD screen, which will be packed with a speedometer, trip meter, fuel level readout, gear position indicator, and time. Besides, the company is most likely to launch the upcoming Pulsar N150 in two different variants: the front disc with the rear drum and the front disc along with the rear disc. The motorcycle will also share its chassis with the quarter-litre twins. The Pulsar N150 can also get a USB port on offer as well. The company can also equip the Pulsar N150 with self-cancelling turn indicators and back-lit switchgear.

Price and Rivals:

Bajaj has not revealed the price of the Pulsar N150 yet. However, this upcoming bike will be more affordable than the previous models. The price of the Pulsar N150 is expected to be comparable to that of the current model. Since the current Pulsar 150 costs Rs 1.14 lakh, the Pulsar N150 is also likely to be launched in the same price bracket of Rs 1.04 lakh to 1.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Bajaj Pulsar N150 will enter the market as a competitor to some big names, such as Yamaha FZ-Fi Version 3.0, Honda Unicorn, Suzuki Gixxer 155, and the TVS Apache RTR 160. Launch Date:

Although the official announcement about the launch details of the new Pulsar N150 is yet to be made, the motorbike is likely to hit Indian roads by the end of 2022 or the early months of 2023. As for its price, the new 2022 Bajaj Pulsar N150 is likely to cost around Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Its existing model is available at a starting price of Rs 1.03 lakh.
